To carry out the research work (instrumentation and monitoring) in field during experimental trial of new mining method in different underground coal mines of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) using continuous miner-based mass production technology. Also, numerical modelling using FLAC3D software for development of novel mining method at
higher depth of cover including the design of underground geotechnical structures with varying parameters are to be done. Scope to enroll as a Ph.D. Scholar in Department of Mining Engineering (has to satisfy Institute / Department Eligibility Criteria)
