No. NITD/MEFCCP/2025/01) on temporary basis for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for one year which can be extended depending on work upto any specified duration or until the completion of the project. NIT Delhi Recruitment 2025 : Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualification

Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Environmental Science, Biological/Life Sciences
and associated streams, Chemistry or equivalent in relevant areas of discipline
with NET qualification or any other National level examinations conducted by
central government Departments and their agencies and institutions as DST,
DBT, DAE, DCS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc with minimum
60% aggregate marks (CGPA >=6.5/10)
OR
B. Tech. / B. E. in Environmental / Civil / Chemical Engineering with
NET/GATE qualifications or M. Tech/M. E with minimum 60% aggregate
marks (CGPA >=6.5/10)

Desirable Qualification

Consistent good academic record and knowledge in the relevant area
AND
Prior working experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment,
Constructed Wetlands, Pollution Control etc.
And
GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET qualified
And
Proficiency in basic computing skills

Candidates qualified NET/GATE or any other National level examinations	₹37,000+30% HRA
Candidates NOT qualified NET/GATE or any other National level examinations	₹24,000+30%HRA

NIT Delhi Recruitment 2025 : Duration and Nature of Appointment

Duration of Appointment : The initial appointment is for one (01) year only which can be extended up to any specified duration or until completion of the Project.
Nature of Appointment : The appointment is purely temporary and subject to regular performance review.

NIT Delhi Recruitment 2025 : Selection Procedure

The Selection Committee of NIT Delhi holds the authority to establish appropriate criteria for shortlisting eligible candidates based on the number of applications received and the specific requirements of the advertised position.
