Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications

B.Tech/ B.E. In Civil Engineering, M.Tech/ M.E. in Transportation (or Relevant Field) Engineering with a good academic background, and a valid GATE score. A minimum first class is required.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have in-depth knowledge of pedestrian safety, signal design, simulation in VISSIM, statistical analysis, and coding in Python or C++.

Job Description

Carry out work on the research project with the title mentioned above
Data collection from the field using drones and handy cameras
Statistical analysis, Simulation in VISSIM, and coding in Python or C++
Keep and maintain the record of the work in presentable form (soft as well as hard copy)
Keep track of contingencies/consumables required for the work
To carry out the detailed literature survey, writing research papers and technical reports
Carry out any other departmental work as directed by PI
After joining the service of the Institute, the person will have to abide by the
Rules, Regulations, Ordinances, Statutes, and Acts of the Institute applicable from time to time.

Salary Structure

Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years
Rs 42,000/- per month for the third year.

Age Criteria

28 Years, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.

Duration and Nature of Appointment

Duration of Appointment : The initial appointment is for the period of six months, which can be extended up to 03 years solely based on satisfactory performance.
Nature of Appointment : The appointment is purely temporary.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisting will be based on qualification, experience, and interview
