NITC Kerala Summer Internship 2025 : National Institute Of Technology Calicut, Kerala (NITC Kerala) has invited applicatios from eligible students for internship during summer vacation or Project Internship in various Laboratories at NIT Calicut for 30/60 days from May 01 to July 10 2025. Interested and eligible Students who are completing the Second/Third year (or Fourth/Sixth Semester) B.Tech. / BE, or Fourth/Sixth/Eighth Semester of B. Arch. and students completing the First Year (or Second Semester) of MTech./ ME/ M.Sc./M. Plan/MBA, having a CGPA not less than 6.5 (out of 10) OR an aggregate mark, not less than 65%, may apply for the post till 26th March 2025 through Online Mode.

NITC Kerala Summer Internship 2025 : Qualifications and Experience

Students who are completing the Second/Third year (or Fourth/Sixth
Semester) B.Tech. / BE, or Fourth/Sixth/Eighth Semester of B. Arch. and students
completing the First Year (or Second Semester) of MTech./ ME/ M.Sc./M. Plan/MBA,
having a CGPA not less than 6.5 (out of 10) OR an aggregate mark, not less than 65%, up to and including the Last Semester (for which results are published so far) are eligible to apply. Only regular full-time Students with no back papers and no disciplinary action from the parent institute are eligible to apply.

NITC Kerala Summer Internship 2025 : Duration and Nature of Appointment

Duration of Appointment : The initial appointment is for 30/60 days
Nature of Appointment : The appointment is purely temporary

NITC Kerala Summer Internship 2025 : Terms and Conditions

Candidates selected for Internship will be assigned to a Regular Faculty as Mentor orSupervisor. The Mentor/Supervisor shall ensure that the Intern is doing the Internshipproperly and progress is satisfactory to achieve the target proposed.
All the cost of Consumables/Chemicals, other charges and contingency costs if any for the completion of the Internship project/work shall be completely taken by the Intern. No amount shall be sanctioned from the Department/NIT Calicut.
NIT Calicut WILL NOT provide any financial assistance to the Interns. Funding, if any, will be met from the project fund of the mentor faculty. The Interns will have to meet the expenses for their travel, accommodation and food on their own. Shared accommodation maymbe provided to the Interns in NITC Hostels and food from the Student mess, if available. This will be on a payment basis to be paid by the Interns.
Temporary ID Cards will be issued to the Interns.
The Interns will be provided access to the Central Library (for reference only), Digital Library, and the Central Computer Centre of NITC
The Interns are expected to have Medical Insurance coverage of their own (proof of the same or a self-declaration to that effect, shall be submitted at the time of joining).
Even though the Summer Internship is generally for a duration of 30/60 days, NITC reserves the right to discontinue the programme at any time for reasons deemed to be valid by the Institute, without assigning any reasons. Selected Students may avail Online / Offline / Hybrid modes for this Internship upon receiving approval from the Mentor. Kindly indicate this in your application.
Upon successful completion of the Internship, the Interns will be awarded “Internship Completion E-Certificate” from NITC.

NITC Kerala Summer Internship 2025 : Selection Procedure

The selection of Interns will be done by the respective departments of NITC

Academic performance in university examinations (CGPA / percentage of marks).
Paper presented if any at conferences/ workshops, projects already executed/completed.
Academic/co-curricular contests participated and other awards/distinction obtained.
Performance during a personal interview conducted (if any).
